Women in Anesthesiology is a community of women dedicated to the empowerment of women through mentorship, personal and professional enrichment and promotion of work-life balance. We strive to achieve solidarity by improving collaboration, promoting discussions and providing a forum for issues unique to women in the field of anesthesiology.
Our goals:
- To facilitate networking among women faculty and trainees in our department.
- To broaden knowledge on how to achieve success, overcome barriers and gain personal satisfaction.
- To facilitate mentorship and sponsorship in our community.
- To create a pipeline for leadership for early career faculties and trainees by senior faculties.
